- As a freelance photographer, Laura has traveled extensively through Europe, the United States and Mexico, using her experience, and knowledge working in international and third world settings, she has created a body of fine art images that are a part of private collections in the U.S. and Mexico. Laura is a gifted, expressive and sensitive photographer who first seriously picked up a camera in 1997 and pursued intensive formal and self-instruction photographic training, to develop a versatile dexterity in traditional, digital and alternative processes. Laura expresses her creative vision through portraiture, travel, commercial, architectural and fine art photography while maintaining a career as a Landscape Architect, Designer and commercial Photographer-consultant. She is currently engaged in three long-term documentary projects at home in Phoenix and in Mexico.
Laura holds a certificate in forensics photography and in digital photography becoming very prolific at the technological side of cameras and photography. for very long time she shot medium format film and worked countless hours in the darkroom developing photos. Back in the film days she worked for a small wedding company (from 2002 thru 2004), where she shot over 50 weddings & over Ten ‘15 años’. But motherhood took her away from the photography business. During this period she used all her free time to concentrate on her photography education enabling her to make a full transition to the digital world in search of a more creative outlet. Now on her own, she transmits her photography passion, creativity and motivation to each of her clients; every time, every day, with every project.
Laura, photographs with a state of the art digital equipment with indoor and outdoor settings. Laura also photographs high school seniors, babies, maternity, children, small and large family groups, business executive portraits, conventions, engagement sessions, weddings, 15 años, sports and architecture; serving throughout the state of Arizona and travel to destination events, with the advantage of been fully bilingual (English & Spanish) for your convenience.
